Low carbon steel shot

TAA Low carbon steel shot is a high performance alternative to high carbon steel shot, used for blast cleaning, desanding, deburring, descaling, etc. It is developed combining with decades of experience in metallurgy as well as shotblasting operation. TAA low carbon steel shot lasts longer than high carbon steel shot, while maintaining its proper hardness to obtain effectiveness. It lasts longer, reduces wear to machine, creates less dust, requires less labor and thus makes the most economic and efficient metal abrasive.

Smelting

Electric arc furnace to purify molten steel and minimize S P content.

Refining

Adding and optimizing alloy composition to refine grain particle.

Centrifugal granulation

High temperature melting and low temperature pouring, to reduce particle defects and improve microstructure.

◎scrap steel with high purity
◎electric arc furnace and refining furnace to reduce S、P content below 0.02%

◎grain refinement due to optimized alloy composition
◎improving tenacity and strength

◎low pouring temperature, centrifugal granulation ◎improved microstructure to increase service life

Lower consumption

Higher efficiency

Less dust

Less wear to machine
